A small attempt to pen those precious moments that seem to go by all too quickly. Things that would easily be forgotten.....may they always be remembered....here's hoping this site never crashes. :)

Last Game....

Today was CT's last soccer game, so we got some footage of him doing what he does best. Making money!!! :) To motivate CT a little more T told him for every goal he scores he would give him a dollar. Well, the ole wallet was drained a little today. :) CT scored 7 of the 8 legitimate goals scored today. We had another little girl on our team who was trying so hard, but scored in the wrong goal twice. They are cute at this age. Although CT takes this VERY seriously!! He absolutely loves it and was sad that it was over for the fall. We will start again in the spring. The last video cracks me up. After every goal he does his little victory run down to the other end of the field, while he runs by us with a HUGE smile on his face. Someday when the field gets a little bigger he will have to change his ways. :)

All Things SPOOKtacular!!!

We have been pretty busy getting all our halloween fun in this past week. We started off with a visit to the Pumpkin Patch. They had many pumpkins to choose from out there, but they wanted $15 for a big pumpkin. So we headed to the Wal-Mart pumpkin patch and picked us out a $4 pumpkin. :) We brought it home for Daddy to get the blood and guts out of it. :) That's what CT asked him if he was going to do. They had fun getting all the "blood and guts" out, even though they thought it was a little gross. Then we had a Fall Festival on Thursday night for Wee School. We had a great time there, and collected a lot of candy. On Halloween we did Trunk or Treat and visited some of our friends while collecting even MORE candy. Mimi came over to help us trick or treat. :) We had a GREAT time and CT had a tummy ache at the end of the night.

Jumping on the Jupiter Jump at the Pumpkin Patch.
Getting ready to run the hay maze. They thought this was cool. We had to do it several times.

Mr. Pumpkin in the maze.

Looking at the VERY expensive pumpkins!! :) I wonder if they sold any?

CT showing his "that's disgusting" face as Daddy pulls out the pumpkin guts.

Our pumpkin.

They were so proud!

Duck hunting. :)

Digging for pumpkins in the pumpkin patch.

It's tuff being a princess! KG crashed on the way home. She had not had a nap that day.

CT as the Blue Power Ranger. He was just sure that no one would know who he was. :) Too bad they recognized his mommy.

Happy Halloween!! KG decided she wanted to be a bumble bee for Halloween. We had half of our princess stuff on, and she changed her mind. Hey, a girls gotta have choices. :)

BIG Day Today!!

Not only is today Halloween Candy Crazy Day!! But we went to vote today. I took the kids with me. They were very excited! CT has been asking who is the good guy and who is the bad guy, as if we were playing Star Wars. Not so much Star Wars as it is spiritual warfare. Anyway, they got to go in with me, and got their own "sample" ballot to take home and mark their vote. :) CT was very concerned that he would vote for the wrong guy. :) He is so serious. If you haven't voted, or haven't decided if you will vote...YOU SHOULD! It is your RESPONSIBILITY as an American citizen to exercise that right. It's important to teach your kids to do the same. I'm ready for this election to be over. The media is FULL of it, and the whole thing scares me a bit, BUT my trust is NOT in the next American President or the media, but in Jesus Christ my Lord!! Thank goodness He's the one REALLY in control!! :)

CT helping me vote. He was really into it.

KG wasn't so into the voting. She wanted to know what was in the closed closet behind her. :)

Marking our ballots at home.

This picture has nothing to do with voting, but we went to the library this morning and were greated by WILD THING, from Where the Wild Things Are. Of course KG went right up to him, and CT hid behind me. :)

Family Photo Shoot!

Since I have not been so good at getting my kids pictures taken every 6 months to a year we thought it was about time. We have a girl here in town who does a wonderful job. For our "photo shoot" we met her out at a park in a town close by. The kids had a great time, and I think she did a great job. She took close to 1000 photos. Yes that is 1000 that you read. CRAZY!! Don't worry there are only 220 to look at. ha! The other little girl in the pictures is my business partner's little girl. We took those pics for our website. For your viewing pleasure you can check them out by clicking here. Her website is http://www.picturethemoment.net/

Still Partyin'!!

KG has been partying all week long and we wrapped it up with a Princess Party at the Rec Center inside pool here in town. Everyone had a GREAT time other than the fact that it was a sauna inside the pool area. For some reason they keep it at like 95 degrees in there. Who knows why?

KG celebrating at Wee School. She also shares a close bithday with another sweet little girl in her class.

KG and her class eating brownies and ice cream.

Singing Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday KG!!

Birthday Princess.

Digging into the cake. KG had to make sure all her little friends had their cake, plates, forks, and napkins first. She was a little hostess.

KG and one of her favorite friends swimming in the pool.

Opening presents. Of course Nee Nee had to get us shoes. :) Thanks Nee Nee and Jack!

KG and friends helping to open up her presents.

A Make Up Vanity! Just what we wanted. Now, where are we going to put it? :)

Some other fun gifts she received (only for our benefit to remember) were a princess umbrella, princess movie, hungry hungry hippos, a Mickey Mouse cd that says her name while they sing, princess tea set, a baby that you make feel better, a princess crown, a princess cd player, and money for savings bonds. Thank you everyone who came and made KG's Third Birthday so special!

Happy 3rd Birthday KG!!!

Be sure you read all the way down. There are several new posts.

Monday was KG's 3rd birthday. We celebrated by eating lunch at Emerald City. She got to pick. She also called Daddy on the phone to see if he would like to meet her for her birthday lunch. :) She has been celebrating all week and letting everyone know that she is now 3. She is having her princess party this weekend.

Happy Birthday sweet girl! We love you and are proud of you!
KG blowing out her candle while Daddy helps to keep it from falling over.
Three things we love about KG:
1. She loves to sing about Jesus and make up her own songs.
2. She says the funniest things.
3. She is a true blessing from the Lord!

10 Year OBU College Reunion

On our way home from Tennessee, T dropped me off in Arkadelphia for my 10 year OBU college reunion. We decided that the husbands would not have such a great time, so we made it a girls weekend. It was so much fun getting to see everyone and just hanging out again. Being back on campus brought back so many fun memories. We met up at a reunion dinner on Friday night. We sat at the back and of course got in trouble because our table was too loud. :) Imagine that. Saturday we walked campus and visited with everyone, then headed over to the tail gate party and football game. Then that night we attended the Tiger Tunes finale. Of course the Kappa Chi's won AGAIN. I will have to admit they were EXCELLENT! We had a great time, and I can't wait to do it again. Next time hopefully those that missed can come, and we won't wait so long.

Hey! Does anybody know where I could find Birkett Williams Cafeteria? :)

From L to R: (Back Row) Misty AKA Buttsy, Angela, Shelley Front Row: Jennifer AKA JC, Me, Sandra, and Patti.
Me and JC. We have a million pictures like this, so we thought we would add to the collection.
Hanging out at the Tri Chi Tea. Shelley, JC, me, Karlyn, and Patti.
Hanging out in the "O". We used to sit here and eat Chewey Sprees while we people watched. :) Those were some great times! I'm sure we were supposed to be in class or something. ha!
Me, JC, Buttsy, and Patti at the Burger Barn. I look scared for a reason, but I will just keep that between the little group there. :) You owe me JC!

Sandra took a LOT more pictures than I did. So once she has hers up, I may have more to add to mine. :)
