A small attempt to pen those precious moments that seem to go by all too quickly. Things that would easily be forgotten.....may they always be remembered....here's hoping this site never crashes. :)

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care.......
A little blurry, but you get the idea....
CT and KG enjoying their hot chocolate. KG just opted for the marshmallows.
"Helping" to decorate.

This past Sunday night we stayed home and started decoration for Christmas. T and CT went to church and by the time they came home KG and I had gotten quite a bit done. Both the kids were WOUND up. We had frito chili pie for dinner and then a little bit later on we had hot chocolate and snowman cookies. I think the kids had a little too much sugar. :) We all had a great time and we are ready for Christmas.

Big Weekend!

CT surfing.
KG surfing.
CT and Keara in the bounce around.
KG eating Sonic Ice. :)
On your mark....get set......GO!

I am behind on my blogging. The weekend before Thanksgiving was our disciple now or BIG WEEKEND as we call it around here. :) The kids had a blast! Of course we were unable to stay for the teaching time due to the fact that my kids are not old enough to sit still for more than 30 seconds and stay quiet. We left quickly. :) On Saturday we had a lot of inflatables and stuff for the kids to do, so my kids jumped right in and tried it all. They had a great time. KG kept saying she wanted to ride the bull. I would have let her, but there was no speed control on it. They both did a good job at "surfing". :)

10 years ago........

CT and Daddy with the OBU "TISON" aka Bison
T and good friend Beau from college.

This past weekend we headed over to T's OBU for his 10 year college reunion. It's hard to believe it has been that long. CT was so excited to get to go and see his Daddy's school. We took a little tour of their new fitness facility. It is REALLY nice! I asked T if he felt like he got jipped? He said most definintely. We also took in some basketball games while we were there. CT was a little confused on the mascot. T's OBU is the Bison and my OBU is the Tiger so CT kept calling it the OBU Tison's. I think he finally got it figured out by the end of the night. Both kids had a ball at the game, and we got to catch up with some old friends. Next year it's my turn! :)

Backyard Bonfire

FIRE!!! We had a hose ready just in case. :)
The kiddos.
Sami and CT attempting to roast their marshmallows.
KG eating one of who knows how many smores.

The other night we had a backyard bonfire with our neighbors behind us.

It finally got cold enough to have such and event. We are not technically in town so we are allowed to have a fire burning in our backyard. :) The kids thought it was a BLAST! We roasted marshmallows and made smores. I think they would have eaten until they puked had we let them. We enjoyed just sitting around and watching the embers burn.
