A small attempt to pen those precious moments that seem to go by all too quickly. Things that would easily be forgotten.....may they always be remembered....here's hoping this site never crashes. :)

Update on Deacon

We have some news on Deacon. Check it out at www.journeytodeacon.blogspot.com Or click on Journey to Deacon on the right of this blog.

Waterbalooza

Wednesday night was Waterbalooza at church. We loaded the kids up and went to the park for some water fun. T had the kids playing all kinds of crazy games that ensured they would get wet. :) CT and KG had a great time watching and getting wet themselves.

CT thought it would be funny to throw a water balloon at Daddy.

Daddy gets back at CT.
KG chillin in the pool. It was cold!
Who even knows what she is trying to do? :)

Incredible Pizza

This past week a college friend of mine was in town, and we went to T-town to see her. We met at Incredible Pizza, and had a GREAT time. The food was good (especially the cinnamon rolls), and the kids had a blast!! Of course we had a hard time getting them to sit down and eat first. They were ready to get to the games.

Mommy and KG getting ready to smoke some people on the go-karts. Of course we won. :)
CT and Brandy getting ready to race.
CT playing a Star Wars game.
Brandy helping KG win some tickets.
KG on the Merry Go Round. That played It's a Small World, and was stuck in our head the rest of the afternoon.
CT bowling his little heart out.
Air Hockey-Uh oh, hang on to

We had a great time. We got enough tickets for some nerds, two suckers, some sports sweat bands, a paper airplane, and some silly glasses. :)

Creek Week 09

This past week we loaded up and headed to The Creek, Falls Creek that is. :) We had a great week, but were excited to come home. The kids enjoyed hanging out with the "Big" kids. CT and KG both were setting up icee dates. :) They each had someone different taking them to get an icee each day. Good thing because I would have run out of $$$$, they charge $2 a piece for those things. They are really good, especially when it is 100 degrees outside.

This is a little hard to see, but this is our group from the week.

CT learned how to play speed. He would play anyone who would sit still long enough to play him.
KG loved helping in the kitchen. Here she is getting the cornbread casserole ready. She made two big pans full.
This is another reason she liked to be in the kitchen. COOKIES!!!
This was celebrity night. One of CT's favorites Wes-a-lee (aka Wesley) also dressed up as Spiderman.
KG was Cinderella, but a little shy about being in front of all those people. Takes after her mother. :)
Mimi sent a package. Here they are patiently waiting to tear into it.
Yipeeeeeee!!! Make up and the NEW Transformer we wanted. Thanks Mimi!! What a fun surprise.

Fun with Fabio!

Last week was VBS week. On Friday we had our big wrap up complete with a guest appearance from "Fabio". :) The kids had a GREAT week at VBS, and were very excited that Safari Joe's was the ending celebration. They had all kinds of creatures that you could pet. KG did pet the very large snake. Her daddy was shuddering while she did it. :) There was also a jupiter jump, hot dogs, and last but not least PONY RIDES!!!!
KG taking her very first pony ride. :) She was not quite sure at first. I told her I would walk with her. We got about two steps and she said, "Go Mom, I've got this." :)
KG already a pro!

This is CT's best friend Stephen riding the pony.

CT taking his turn.

CT's also a pro at pony riding.
