A small attempt to pen those precious moments that seem to go by all too quickly. Things that would easily be forgotten.....may they always be remembered....here's hoping this site never crashes. :)

Boomer Sooner and Woooooo Pig Sooooie!

CT and KG with "Wilbur" at the county fair.
The smell in here was unbelievable!!! :)
All decked out and ready to go to Nana and Papa's to watch the Sooners whip Miami.

We are right in the middle of getting ready for our Jack n Jill children's consignment sale, so I have been slacking in the blogging area. :) Here are some pictures from a week or two ago. We had some friends invite us to the OU vs. Miami game. We had to leave at 5:45 am. So we got the kids up and dressed and ready to go. They were excited because they were going to Nana and Papa's house. They weren't too concerned what time it was. They did sleep in the car on the way down and some on the way back. Then when we got home we went out to the local county fair. This is where the Wooooooo Pig Sooie fits in. :) I have supposedly been brought to the "Promise Land", but I do still LOVE my HOGS!!! Anyway,we had several kids in our ministry that were showing pigs, cattle, and sheep. Very interesting!! T said that if there ever was a hell on earth for him it would be smack dab in the middle of the livestock barn at the county fair. He is a mess. Not your most animal loving type of guy. Anyway the kids loved the animals and wanted their picture taken with "Wilbur" from Charlotte's Web. Then afterward CT informed me that it was not the real Wilbur. :)

"Iguanas" AKA Awanas

CT hanging out before Cubbies.
CT with his friends meeting BIG Cubbie Bear. Ct wasn't real sure about him. He said, "He was BIG."
Cubbie Bear.
CT w/his friends.
The "coveted" VEST!!

CT started "Iguanas" last week, but I forgot to take my camera. So this week we took some pictures. He actually got his vest this week, so now he is "official". He was so excited! Now he wants to sleep in it. :) We will have to see about that. He also got a new pair of cleats that he wears every waking moment. So I'm sure his outfit for tomorrow (before I get a hold of him) will consist of an Awana vest and cleats. :) ha! He has also done very well at memorizing his verses. I was impressed.

Football-Larger than Life!

Today the Student Ministry got to feed to football team. CT was more than excited about it. He even put on the only shirt he had that resembled the teams jersey. (I'll have to work on getting him a Tigers jersey.) Of course when the team arrived he turned into Mr. Shy Guy. We did get some boys in our youth ministry to come over and he was happy to talk to them and discuss everyone's numbers on their jerseys. We had to fake him out to get a picture. I told him I was just taking a picture of him and Wesley stuck his head in at the last minute. CT thought it was pretty cool! He was ready to go watch them play right then. Daddy took him to the game tonight. He was pumped and ready to go!

Bowl-a-rama!!!

CT and Daddy bowling it up. Daddy threw his back out so he just watched. He was dying to get in there and play. :)
Jack and KG getting ready to play. KG didn't play at all. :)
Nee Nee and her mad bowling skillz!! I beat her. :)
STRIKE!!!!

This past Friday night we went bowling with some friends of ours. This was the first time for the kids to bowl. KG was more into running around and collecting things from the vending machines. :) CT is a bowling machine. We had two lanes. All the adults were on one lane, and CT had his own lane. We put the bumpers up for him. He bowled for 2 1/2 hours straight. He loved it!!
