A small attempt to pen those precious moments that seem to go by all too quickly. Things that would easily be forgotten.....may they always be remembered....here's hoping this site never crashes. :)

Dance Party!!!

We actually moved houses a couple of weeks ago. We had been packing and packing. The kids had had enough of the packing, and decided to have a little dance party. I went in KG's room to find this. :)

Deacon has quite the moves. ha ha!

End of Year Activities

I am Waaaaaay behind on blogging, so I'm going to try and get caught up. We had a great year at wee school and kindergarten. :) I can't believe how fast it went by. We had lots of activities during the last couple of weeks of school.

KG and her best little friends hanging out at the park on their last day of wee school. We also had a little picnic.
CT and his buddies got to go to Mazzios and make personal pizzas one day. It was FULL of kindergartners and very loud, but they had a great time!
Deacon's little Wee School class had a water day outside. I had to pull him off this slide when it was time to go. He was none to happy to have to go in. He loves the wada.
CT's class did a barnyard musical for their school. Their class played the part of the chickens. It was really cute.
This is the boy side getting ready for the musical.
CT also had a musical at church that he participated in. He did a great job.

Family Photos

About a month ago we went out to the ranch and had some family photos taken. Our sweet friend Heather did these for us. She is just starting out, so we said we would be her guinea pigs. :) She did a great job!! These were some of our favorites!

Mother's Day/Baby Dedication

This Mother's Day at our church was not only Mother's Day, but also a very special day in our family's life. We have had all our children dedicated once they were born. We do not do this so that they can go to heaven. That is not our decision, but a personal decision they will have to make on their own when they are a little older, and understand more what it means to follow Jesus, and have a personal relationship with him. We do this as a family to say, we are going to love, support, and teach you as much as we can about the Jesus we love, serve, and follow. In hopes that one day you will make a decision to follow Him too!!

Today was Deacon's turn to be dedicated to the Lord. What a blessing and an honor it is to be his parents. We are so thankful to the Lord that he allowed us to be his parents!
Deacon receiving his first Bible. He was so excited he kept saying, "Mine, mine, mine." :)
As we celebrated mom's on this day, I can't help but think fondly of Deacon's birth mother, and the huge sacrifice she made for her boy!! There will always be a GREAT love for his birth parents. We may never meet here on this earth, but we pray that one day we will meet in eternity, and spend forever there as a family!!

Look whose riding fancy free.......

Nanna came this weekend, and decided that it was time for CT to take his training wheels off. Thank goodness she keeps us on our toes every once in awhile. :) We have been so busy, and the weather has been hot then cold, that we haven't even had the bikes out very much.

Daddy went out and took his training wheels off, and away he went. He took off like a pro. Took him about 5 minutes to get the hang of it, and he was thrilled!!!

CT owning the driveway. ha ha!!

T-Ball Tournament

CT's t-ball team played in their first tournament before our actual season even started. We played from Thursday night to Tuesday night. It was a lot of ball, but we also had a lot of fun! We ended up getting in the losers bracket halfway through the tournament. We had to fight our way back to get to the championship game. We had to beat the last team twice. We beat them pretty good in the first game. Then they came back to beat us in the second game, and to win the championship.

We are so proud of our Dynamiters!! They did an awesome job, got a medal, and most importantly a trip to the "session" stand. :)

CT's team waiting on their medals. They thought this was pretty cool!!
CT with his medal.
We have a GREAT team, a great set of parents, and an AWESOME set of coaches!! They want to win, but not at the expense of ruining it for the kids. They are so calm and patient with them. We appreciate you guys!!

Zoo Trip- Kindergarten Style!!

The other day I got the opportunity to go with CT and his class to the zoo. We had a great time. There were a good group of parents that went, so I just had CT and one of his best little buddies. We were able to roam as we pleased, and didn't have to worry about keeping up with a group. It was nice to have that freedom. :)

First stop....the bears.
A couple of monkeys.

This was in the rain forrest. It was a gorgeous day outside, but extremely hot in there.
They couldn't wait to see the lions. Unfortunately, this one was in no mood to perform.
Here are the boys ROARING at the lion, trying to get it to respond. They were pretty funny.
Hanging with the penguins.
