Fabulous Family Fun!!!

The first weekend in August we packed up and headed out to the Ranch for a little family fun! Both of Todd's parents had a BIG birthday this year, so we got together to do a little celebrating! Since we had already celebrated Papa's birthday, it was Nana's turn. We had 18 total and had a GREAT time!

We all met in Tulsa and got a "little" bite to eat at Ted's Cafe Escondido! I love that place. Free sopapillas and homemade tortillas!
Taking a dip in the "stream" as CT calls it. The kids had a blast floating and riding in the canoes. There is also a rope swing down stream that they floated to and played on. Our time was cut short due to the torrential downpour that lasted 24 FULL hours.

The other day I was busy cleaning the house when I walked in to this taking place. It was so cute I had to video. CT is WAY into "playing" the guitar. KG is "playing" her broom guitar also. They put on a concert for quite some time. :) Enjoy!

It's Official!!!!

We have officially gotten our LID. That is our Log In Date- July 29,2008. This means that our wait time for our daughter from China has Officially started! As it looks right now it could be every bit of five years before we get our daughter. The referrals are coming very slow. Our prayer is that this would speed up soon, but there are no guarantees. In the mean time we will wait, and know that God's timing is the BEST timing. I will keep you posted on any news we hear.

Going Fishin'

Last night we loaded up the kids and headed out to go fishing. First we had to stop by the local "Mar-Marts" to pick up KG a princess fishing pole. She picked it out. :) Then we headed out to some friends house that have a big pond in their back yard. The kids had a great time. Everyone caught at least one fish. Mommy and Daddy had some BIG fish on their line that got away. Maybe we can go back with more than our Nemo and Princess fishing poles and try to catch them.

Wedding Weekend....

Have kids...will rent for your wedding. :) ha! Just kidding. The kids got to be in another wedding at the end of June. Two of my friends Kathy and Cathie, their kids married each other. :) It was a lot of fun and the wedding was BEAUTIFUL!!

The money dance. The whole bridal party got out on the dance floor. Then people started throwing money at them. Then they were supposed to dance harder and harder to earn more money. :) It was really cute. The kids went around and picked up the money and put it in a box. Too bad I didn't know about this dance when I got married.

Slip-n-Slide

A couple of weeks ago, on a Wednesday night, we set up a slip and slide for the youth. CT and KG had just as much fun as the BIG kids. :) We had to keep moving them out of the way so they wouldn't get run over.

Falls Creek Shoot Out

This week we are at Falls Creek, America. We are having a great time, but it is SUPER HOT!! The kids are enjoying hanging out and playing with the BIG kids. The other night was western night so the kids got their cowboy get up on and went to town. :) CT really got into the cap guns, and played with those ALL night long. He informed me that he was going to have to get one of those. We are all having a good time! It has been fun to see old friends and meet new ones.
