Halloween 2010

October 31, 2010

This halloween we spent the weekend at Mimi and Poppi's with all our extended family. We enjoyed getting to see and spend time with our family.

On the way home we stopped by Uncle Chad and Aunt Mandy's church fall festival. Snow White, The Cowboy, and a Jedi.
Deacon's first pony ride. He really liked it.
KG also took a turn.
CT showing off his skills. :)

Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween!! We started our Trick or Treating on Thursday night, and continued through the weekend. :)

Darth Vadar aka CT and Nee Nee. A lot of the businesses in our community handed out candy on Friday afternoon. It was CRAZY!! There were people everywhere. We just went to where Nee Nee works, and hit a few other businesses of people we knew.
When we got home CT got his surprise from Mimi. She sent him a cookie basket since he broke his arm. :) He was nice enough to share with all of us. He thought this was pretty cool. He is playing the broken arm card quite well. Everything is, "But I broke my arm." It's not working as well as he would like. ha ha!

CT broke his arm jumping off the neighbor's trampoline. :) BOYS!!
Brothers. These two were ready to get the candy party started. KG wasn't too into taking pictures.

CT and one of his best buddies Stephen. Every time I took a picture of them, Stephen would ask me if I could email it to him. :)
KG and her little friend Paige. I got her to take this picture by telling her she could eat 3 pieces of candy. :)
CT, Stephen, and two BIG Clone Troopers. The boys thought this was cool.
Deacon playing the games.
Argh Matey!! Hope you had a Happy Halloween!!

Wee School Fall Festival

Tonight was KG's fall carnival at her school. So we got everyone dressed up and ready for some fun!

These are a little blurry. I had something set wrong on my camera.

Tinkerbell, Capt. Pirate, and Darth Vadar ready for some candy!
The cookie walk. Notice the scary wearwolf. :) He is our cute little neighbor, but he looked scary!
What am I supposed to do with this ring? I'll just take that drink thank you. :)
This is NOT Working!!!
Darth Vadar gettin' it done.
Tinkerbell with her Wee School teacher. She is having a great year.
I'll take a grape snocone please. We thank you wee school for filling them up with sugar and send them on home. :)
Fishing for some candy.
Daddy and his little pirate.

Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we headed out to the local pumpkin patch for a little fun. The best part....it's FREE! A church here in town puts it on each year.

Deacon making his way through the hay maze.
This picture cracks me up. CT is smiling but looking at what is going on somewhere else. KG is giving someone instructions I am sure. :) ha!
Deacon was loving this.
Deacon's Chinese squat.
KG heading through the hay tunnel. She wasn't going to to at first b/c CT told her it was scary. It was all of 10 feet long. She got over it and went.
This was one of our attempts at getting a picture in the pumpkins. Take 1.
Let's try again.....
And we're off. He was done with that. So that was as good as it got. :)

All Things SPOOKtacular!!!

We have been pretty busy getting all our halloween fun in this past week. We started off with a visit to the Pumpkin Patch. They had many pumpkins to choose from out there, but they wanted $15 for a big pumpkin. So we headed to the Wal-Mart pumpkin patch and picked us out a $4 pumpkin. :) We brought it home for Daddy to get the blood and guts out of it. :) That's what CT asked him if he was going to do. They had fun getting all the "blood and guts" out, even though they thought it was a little gross. Then we had a Fall Festival on Thursday night for Wee School. We had a great time there, and collected a lot of candy. On Halloween we did Trunk or Treat and visited some of our friends while collecting even MORE candy. Mimi came over to help us trick or treat. :) We had a GREAT time and CT had a tummy ache at the end of the night.

Jumping on the Jupiter Jump at the Pumpkin Patch.
Getting ready to run the hay maze. They thought this was cool. We had to do it several times.

Mr. Pumpkin in the maze.

Looking at the VERY expensive pumpkins!! :) I wonder if they sold any?

CT showing his "that's disgusting" face as Daddy pulls out the pumpkin guts.

Our pumpkin.

They were so proud!

Dressed up for Wee School Fall Festival. Blue Power Ranger and Princess KG.

Fishing for prizes.

Duck hunting. :)

Riding the wagon to the "pumpkin patch".

Digging for pumpkins in the pumpkin patch.

It's tuff being a princess! KG crashed on the way home. She had not had a nap that day.

CT as the Blue Power Ranger. He was just sure that no one would know who he was. :) Too bad they recognized his mommy.

Happy Halloween!! KG decided she wanted to be a bumble bee for Halloween. We had half of our princess stuff on, and she changed her mind. Hey, a girls gotta have choices. :)

Happy Halloween!

CT and KG READY to go trick-or-treating!

Mommy and CT. CT begged me to dress up.
Mommy and KG. She was a little overwhelmed by all the people.
KG ready to drive. :)

Well, Halloween finally arrived and the kids could not have been more excited! I think CT asked me every 5 minutes if it was time to go yet. I put them down for a nap and when they woke up it was time to go. Thank goodness. We ran over to the neighbors behind us to see them. Sami just happened to be an OU cheerleader so she and CT thought that was pretty cool. She put an OU tattoo on his face. He was thrilled! Then we headed to the church for trunk-or-treat. The line was forever long, but we made it through and collected more than enough candy! Fun was had by all! Now to figure out how to dispose of the candy w/o eating it. :) Happy Halloween!
