A small attempt to pen those precious moments that seem to go by all too quickly. Things that would easily be forgotten.....may they always be remembered....here's hoping this site never crashes. :)

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

CT and KG pumped about playing in the snow!
KG not quite sure about all of this.

CT figuring out how to make a snowball.
Coming after mommy with the snowballs.
KG thinks its lots of fun to throw snow at mommy. ;)
CT excited he found something he can throw at people and not get into trouble.
Our Snowman. This snow was GREAT snow for snowball fights and making a snowman.

It started snowing this morning and it's still snowing here. It is so pretty! The kids were super excited to get out and play in it. As we were walking out the door CT proclaims, "This is the best time I've ever had in my life. I've never did this before." OK we will work on the grammar later. They had a blast figuring out how to make snowballs and throwing them at each other. KG got mad when she got hit with one. She would say, "Don't frow dat at me." She didn't have a problem throwing them at me and CT though. :) CT was none to happy that we had to come in, but they were getting cold and it was time for a nap. I hope it sticks around for awhile.

Big Bow Head!!!

Big Bows!!

Here is KG eating her "eye" cream and sporting her new bows. We got them in the mail the other day and she was so excited! Thanks Ribbon Rockstar. These bows are darling and VERY well made. You too can order your own at www.ribbonrockstar.com We may have to get some more colors for the spring and summer. We will wear them as long as she lets me. :)

We HEART Light'meen" McQueen

CT playing with his cars, while KG and her ornery self irritates him by taking his cars. :) She would also tell you that in this picture, "My haya (hair) is messy."

This is how CT spends a lot of his time these days. He can play for hours with all his Light"meen" McQueens. These are his favorite cars. We often spend time looking for a certain one that he has misplaced. I also don't understand how it is that Lightning is always the one to go missing. He always has them accounted for. It amazes me how he gets so lost in play and making them talk to one another. He says some funny things. The other day he was pretending he was taking them through a drive thru. This is what he said, "Um yes, I need a Diet Dr. Pepper, and two waters for the kids please." I wonder where he has heard that from? :) Well, we are off to race for the Piston Cup. Here's hoping Light"meen" wins again. :)

Here it is in all it's glory. "THE PISTON CUP". AKA the blender from KG's "titchen".

Little Song Birds.....

CT and KG were in the singing mood today. I was singing while I was peeling KG's orange and she told me to stop. (If you heard me you would tell me to stop too.:) ha! ) Anyway then she would sing it and then tell me, "That's how you sing it." Well, Ok then. So for your listening ears.........

Houston we have a problem!!

This past Sunday night T took the kids to church while I stayed home to get some things caught. Now before y'all start calling me a heathern for missing church. I do not go on Sunday nights for a reason. We have what we call SAG (student accountability groups) that we meet with on Sunday nights during church. My group can not meet on Sunday's so we meet on Monday nights. Ok now that I have explained myself. Back to the kids going to church. CT and KG just happened to be in the same class this night. KG went up to her teacher and infomed her that her momma was going to have a baby. (oh really) Meanwhile CT heard what she was saying and interrupted by telling the teacher, "No she's not! My Mom and Dad are still working on it!"

To clear up the air NO we are not pregnant and NO we are not "technically" working on it. :) We are in the process of adopting a baby girl from China. We have been explaining things to the kids while we go through the process. We are still a LONG way out. We start our homestudy this Thursday. We probably will not have a baby in hand for another 2 plus years. While this seems like a very long time, we are very excited, and know that the Lord will teach us many things through this journey. So "technically" yes we are going to have a baby. It's just going to take some time. I will keep you posted.

Unfortunately we are unsure of what exactly took place.......

CT rooting for his beloved Sooners. This is him doing "O"
"U" !

CT was all dressed up and ready to cheer on the Sooners for the Tostito bowl. He even had is OU flag flying out front on the house, but unfortunately the Sooners were overtaken by aliens and were unable to show up for the game. We don't know what happened. All we saw were these blue and gold flashes darting around the field all night long. Oh well, there's always next year. PLUS there's next year for my beloved Arkansas Razorbacks. We are over this past year and looking forward to a new year and a NEW coach. Whoooooooooo PIG Soooooooooooooie! Razorbacks!

Christmas Recap

The Fannin's.
Fannin cousins. This picture cracks me up. So typical. How are you supposed to get 8 kids to all smile and look at the camera at the same time. They were cute.

CT opening his Leapster Games. He got Dora, Letters on the Loose, and Letterpillar. He is really enjoying them, and learning his letters. It's pretty cool!
CT was dying to get this spiderman camera. It also came with software where you put your face on spiderman.
The Loot from Santa. Skylar, Landry, and Riggs stuff starts on the left. KG and CT start with the blue and yellow tricycle. KG asked for a bicycle and was thrilled to get this. CT got a Lightning McQueen rolling suitcase complete with Tiger Jerseys. They had his name on them along with his favorite numbers. 95 because that's Lightning McQueen's number. 43 is King's number, and 4 because that's how old he is. :) He thought it was pretty cool. He grabbed them up in his hands and started jumping up and down.
CT with Lightning McQueen.
KG with her new tricycle. This past Sunday at church she was still telling people she got a new bicycle. The best part is it has a telescoping handle on the back so you don't have to bend over to push her. It also folds in half for storing. I was impressed. Way to go Santa. ;)

Nana found a fun craft for all the grandkids. They took ice cream cones and covered them in green icing. Then decorated them with M&M's and other candy to make little Christmas Trees. They turned out really cute. The only set back was the KG was up until 2am talking to herself because she was on a major sugar overload and couldn't go to sleep.
KG decorating her tree.
All the cousins right before they opened their gifts. They were pictured out. We had gotten up early that morning to take family pictures. KG opening her gifts. She got lots of fun girly stuff. She loves her talking Dora backpack and microphone.
KG also got some new Crocs. They are really cute. They have a fur lining in them to keep her feet warm in the winter. Then it comes out for the summer.

This year we had Christmas with Todd's parents. His sister and her family and his brother and his family were all there. Along with Todd's grandmothers, Aunt Judi, and Aunt Janice and her clan. We all had a great time. The cousins enjoy being together and getting to play. The food and the fellowship were all good as well as the gifts. My kids got way more than any kid should, and we hadn't even made it to Mimi and Poppa's house yet.

Uncle Chris and the kids helping Memaw open her presents.

We did spend some time at my parent's house too. My brother Chris was in from New York. It was great to see him and spend some time with him. I have pictures from there too, but I am waiting on him to send them to me. :) He went a little overboard with Christmas this year. He bought my mom and iphone and my dad an antique train set. It has a story behind it. We used to have one growing up that my dad put around the tree every Christmas. Well, at some point my brothers got ahold of it and tore it up. So Chris got on Ebay and found the exact train. He surprised my dad with it. It was pretty neat. Chad and Mandy were there along with my Memaw (my dad's mom) and the Bird (that's what we call my mom's dad). :)
