A small attempt to pen those precious moments that seem to go by all too quickly. Things that would easily be forgotten.....may they always be remembered....here's hoping this site never crashes. :)

Still Partyin'!!

KG has been partying all week long and we wrapped it up with a Princess Party at the Rec Center inside pool here in town. Everyone had a GREAT time other than the fact that it was a sauna inside the pool area. For some reason they keep it at like 95 degrees in there. Who knows why?

KG celebrating at Wee School. She also shares a close bithday with another sweet little girl in her class.

Singing Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday KG!!

Birthday Princess.

Digging into the cake. KG had to make sure all her little friends had their cake, plates, forks, and napkins first. She was a little hostess.

KG and one of her favorite friends swimming in the pool.

Opening presents. Of course Nee Nee had to get us shoes. :) Thanks Nee Nee and Jack!

KG and friends helping to open up her presents.

A Make Up Vanity! Just what we wanted. Now, where are we going to put it? :)

Some other fun gifts she received (only for our benefit to remember) were a princess umbrella, princess movie, hungry hungry hippos, a Mickey Mouse cd that says her name while they sing, princess tea set, a baby that you make feel better, a princess crown, a princess cd player, and money for savings bonds. Thank you everyone who came and made KG's Third Birthday so special!

Happy 3rd Birthday KG!!!

Be sure you read all the way down. There are several new posts.

Monday was KG's 3rd birthday. We celebrated by eating lunch at Emerald City. She got to pick. She also called Daddy on the phone to see if he would like to meet her for her birthday lunch. :) She has been celebrating all week and letting everyone know that she is now 3. She is having her princess party this weekend.

Happy Birthday sweet girl! We love you and are proud of you!
KG blowing out her candle while Daddy helps to keep it from falling over.
Three things we love about KG:
1. She loves to sing about Jesus and make up her own songs.
2. She says the funniest things.
3. She is a true blessing from the Lord!

10 Year OBU College Reunion

On our way home from Tennessee, T dropped me off in Arkadelphia for my 10 year OBU college reunion. We decided that the husbands would not have such a great time, so we made it a girls weekend. It was so much fun getting to see everyone and just hanging out again. Being back on campus brought back so many fun memories. We met up at a reunion dinner on Friday night. We sat at the back and of course got in trouble because our table was too loud. :) Imagine that. Saturday we walked campus and visited with everyone, then headed over to the tail gate party and football game. Then that night we attended the Tiger Tunes finale. Of course the Kappa Chi's won AGAIN. I will have to admit they were EXCELLENT! We had a great time, and I can't wait to do it again. Next time hopefully those that missed can come, and we won't wait so long.

Hey! Does anybody know where I could find Birkett Williams Cafeteria? :)

From L to R: (Back Row) Misty AKA Buttsy, Angela, Shelley Front Row: Jennifer AKA JC, Me, Sandra, and Patti.
Me and JC. We have a million pictures like this, so we thought we would add to the collection.
Hanging out at the Tri Chi Tea. Shelley, JC, me, Karlyn, and Patti.
Hanging out in the "O". We used to sit here and eat Chewey Sprees while we people watched. :) Those were some great times! I'm sure we were supposed to be in class or something. ha!
Me, JC, Buttsy, and Patti at the Burger Barn. I look scared for a reason, but I will just keep that between the little group there. :) You owe me JC!

Sandra took a LOT more pictures than I did. So once she has hers up, I may have more to add to mine. :)

Atlanta Aquarium

While we were road trippin, we headed on over to Atlanta to see some friends that used to be our neighbors in Ponca City. It was so good to see them. Most of the time we sat out on the screened in porch, listened to football, and sat and talked. Just like old times. Of course we had to eat some key lime pie while we were there. An old tradition of ours. :) Thanks for a great time Bryan and Sandy!! Of course I forgot to take a picture of them.

While we were there we did make it to the Atlanta Aquarium. It was AWESOME, and the kids loved it!

KG, Daddy, and CT riding the moving sidewalk while looking at the fish.
Some of the sights overhead. This was really cool.
Some kind of shark.

CT and KG loved this room. T thought we needed on in the living room. :)

Self Portrait.

Beluga Whales

CT touching the sea anemone.
KG wanted to be sure she touched the "cinnamon fish" also. :)

Watching the jelly fish.

KG went right up to this alligator and stuck her hand at his mouth. Good thing she has a healthy fear of them. What am I going to do with her?

BSF....Back in the swing of things!

This morning we finally got to go back to BSF. It started two weeks ago, but the first week I was out sick, and last week was our first JNJ Children's Consignment Sale of the season. We have another one in our town next week. The kids and I both had a great time. We are studying Moses this year. Which I believe covers Exodus, Leviticus, and Numbers. KG came home today telling me she learned about Jonah....no Mosa! CT explained the whole story of baby Moses, and then at the end exclaimed, "And you know what....God had a plan!" It was precious!

This is the church where we attend BSF. If you are looking for a Bible Study to get involved in, I highly recommend this. They are held all over the country, it runs during the school year, and is off when school is off. Also, if you have small children from 2-5years, they have a WONDERFUL program for them too. Plus it's FREE!! They also have night classes, and classes for older kids.
CT and KG excited about returning to BSF!!
Sibling love.....this didn't last long. :)
KG and Mommy. CT took this for us.

CT and Mommy. Since Bubba got to take a picture so did KG. :)

Curious George Comes to Town

At 7:30 this morning, KG was in my room wanting to know if it was time to go and see Curious George. :) We got up, got dressed, had a little breakfast, and headed to the library to see Curious George, who would make his appearance around 10am. We were up in plenty of time. :)

Ms. Pat our Children's Librarian read us, "Curious George Gets a Medal".
Here comes Curious George.
KG could not contain her excitement and ran up to give him a hug. CT hung out in the background with me.
CT was more content to cover pictures of George with glue and glitter. He also made a medal just like George got that is hanging around his neck.
KG with Curious George......again. I think we had several photo shoots, and a lady from the paper took her picture also.
CT didn't want much to do with George, BUT he made sure George saw his new shoes! :)
